Curious to hear some thoughts on this. I’m still new to the amateur HAM radio world (still working on my Technicians License new), but I instantly thought this isn’t good, just another form of gun control, but in radio form. According to FCC rules and regulations, anyone is allowed to broadcast over any frequency in a life or death situation, which there have been known cases where someone’s life was saved broadcasting over a restricted frequency. So I’m not sure how this will benefit us. first our guns, now our communications, whats next ?

I’m not familiar with the details of the laws in question, but I agree with your concerns.

Being new to this field myself, I was wondering if there may be something I might have overlooked, or possibly an area I may be not understanding correctly. Thanks for the input Elijah.
